CAT

The CAT or Common Admission Test is a computer-based national-level management aptitude test for admission to the MBA programmes offered by 20 IIMs and more than 1,200 B-schools in India. Every year, more than two lakh people apply to take the CAT exam. The CAT exam will be offered online in 150 cities over the course of three sessions, with each session lasting two hours. MBA aspirants should take this exam primarily in order to gain admission to highly esteemed institutions like IIMs, IITs, FMS, and IMT, among others. These prestigious institutions offer the best management programmes for students and placements in prestigious firms with competitive pay scales. . The three sessions, Verbal Ability & Reading Comprehension (VARC), Data Interpretation & Logical Reasoning (DILR), and Quantitative Ability sections of the CAT exam paper include both multiple-choice questions and non-MCQs (QA). Three hours are allotted for the exam, with an hour allotted for each section. In the allotted time, candidates must respond to 66 questions of an objective nature. To achieve the 99+ percentile on the CAT exam, at least three months of preparation are necessary. Conceptual learning, deep dive practise, and multiple revision are the three key components of CAT 2022 preparation. Before creating a study plan, they should become familiar with the syllabus and exam format. The selection criteria for admission via this entrance exam vary depending on the institute. Each IIM or participating institute's rules for accepting CAT admissions are unique. The applicant must hold a graduate degree with a minimum of three years of study and a minimum grade point average of 50%, or 45% in the case of members of the Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), and Persons with Disabilities (PWD)/Differently Abled (PWD) groups (DA). Candidates who are taking the graduation degree/equivalent qualification examination in their last year of study as well as those who have completed the requirements for their degree and are awaiting results may also apply.
